What's inside

Everything the job generates, in one project.

No separate app for the client. No parallel WhatsApp thread. Everyone opens the same record.

Timeline

Photo updates and site notes logged as they happen — a running record neither side has to chase.

Payments

Contract sum, milestones and balance due, tracked with optional GST and retention — formal enough to show a client.

Vault

Contracts, warranties and variation orders, versioned and kept where both parties already look.

Chat

Project conversation that lives beside the record it refers to, instead of scrolling away in a personal thread.

Approvals

Variations and change orders signed off in the app, with the cost and the decision recorded together.

Snags

Defects raised with a photo, tracked to resolved — so the punch list doesn't live on someone's notepad.

For IDs and contractors

Turn finished work into your next client.

The job already produced the photos, the record and the happy client. Grow just puts them to work — no extra admin, no second tool.

A public portfolio page

Your completed projects, on a link you own — send it, or put it in your bio.

What's your dispute exposure?

Most renovation disputes start the same way. Here's what it costs, and what the client would have seen.

Every bad job makes your next client warier.

Most renovation complaints follow the same pattern: dates slip, work doesn't match what was agreed, replies get slower. You've never run a job like that. But your next client has read about one, and they can't tell the difference from the outside.

CASE recorded S$728,000 lost across 962 renovation complaints in 2024. Estimate what's at stake on a project your size.

When a client asks how they'll know
Here, this is a job we're doing now. Every stage has photos and dates, and the client sees the same page I do.

That's the whole answer. The rest of this section is what they see when they look.

What goes wrong, and what it looks like on Synify

Three things that go wrong on almost every bad job, and what the client sees instead.

First, what clients say when a job goes wrong. Then the project record, taken apart so you can see what's in it.

One record, three layers. Each complaint lifts the layer that answers it.

To be clear: Synify doesn't hold anyone's money and can't stop a company running out of it. What it does is make the work visible while it's happening. If you're doing the work, there's nothing to lose by showing it.

How access works

Access control, not promises.

Every project is scoped at the database level, so only the homeowner and their own ID or contractor can open it — a permission rule, not a marketing claim.

Scoped per project, not per app
Two parties, one shared thread
Nothing to reconcile later

Questions

Before you start

Does my client need to pay or install anything?

No. Clients join free and open the project in a browser or as an installable web app — there's no app-store download and no seat charge, however many people you invite.

What happens when a project finishes?

Mark it completed and it stops counting toward your plan's active-project limit. Nothing is deleted — everyone keeps full access to the record, warranties and payment history.

Can I still use WhatsApp with my client?

Of course — most people do. The difference is that anything that matters later (photos, approvals, variations, payments) lives in Synify where it stays timestamped and searchable instead of scrolling away.

Who can see my project?

Only the people invited to it. Access is enforced at the database level per project, so one client can never see another client's job.

Does it handle GST?

Optionally, and off by default. If you're GST-registered you can switch it on per project and set the rate; it applies to the agreed contract sum rather than being recalculated line by line.
