Terms of Service

Effective 2 September 2026 · Applies to the Synify website and application

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Synify ("Synify", "we", "us", "our"), a shared project-record application for renovation jobs based in Singapore. By creating an account or using Synify, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Synify.

Related document: how we collect and protect personal data is covered separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

1. What Synify is — and isn't

Synify is a record-keeping and collaboration tool. It lets a homeowner and their appointed interior designer (ID), contractor, or quantity surveyor share one project record — timeline updates, payment milestones, documents, approvals, and messages — instead of scattered chats and files.

Synify is not a party to your renovation contract. We don't hire, vet, supervise, or guarantee the work of any ID, contractor, or quantity surveyor using the platform. We don't verify the accuracy of what any user posts, mediate disputes, provide legal or financial advice, or guarantee that using Synify prevents a dispute. The relationship, contract, and any dispute over the renovation work itself is between you and the other party — Synify is the record of it, not a participant in it.

2. Accounts

3. Plans and billing

PlanPriceActive projects
FreeS$01
StarterS$19/moUp to 10
ProS$49/moUnlimited

Clients (homeowners invited into a project) never pay — every client seat is free, regardless of the ID's or contractor's plan.

Launch pricing. The Starter and Pro prices above are launch pricing for early sign-ups. If our list price rises for new customers in future, your rate stays locked in for as long as your subscription remains active and continuous.

Refund policy not yet finalized. This section will be updated once a refund policy is decided — flagged here rather than guessed at.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Synify — photos, documents, messages, and project details. By uploading it, you grant Synify a limited license to host, store, and display that content back to you and to the other members of your project, solely to provide the service.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — for example, having a client's or colleague's permission before posting a photo that includes them.

5. Publishing publicly (Grow toolkit)

Synify's Grow features — public portfolio pages, branded before/after exports, testimonials, and handover links — let you choose to publish selected project content outside your account, on a link you control.

Publishing is your decision, and your responsibility. Before making any project content public, make sure you have the right to share it — including your client's consent where the content identifies them or their home. Synify provides the tool; you control what, if anything, gets published.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On closure, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

Synify is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every purpose. You're responsible for keeping your own backups of anything critical, in addition to what Synify stores for you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Synify's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Synify is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from the underlying renovation work, contract, or conduct of any ID, contractor, quantity surveyor, or homeowner — those are matters between the parties to that contract, not Synify.

Flagged for legal review. This is the highest-stakes clause in these Terms. The liability cap above is a standard, conservative SaaS clause, not a number we've had reviewed by a lawyer — confirm it (and this whole section) with counsel before relying on it in an actual dispute.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Synify grows. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use Synify after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
