An app for interior designers in Singapore to keep clients updated
Your client is at work, and on their lunch break they want to see the feature wall. You're at another site. By the time you reply, they've sent three more messages.
What clients ask an ID, and where the answer goes
| The client asks | In Synify |
|---|---|
| "Any update?" | Timeline. Dated photos from site, newest first. |
| "When will carpentry come?" | Schedule. Each stage with its status. |
| "Can we change the laminate?" | Approvals. The change, the price and their yes or no, recorded together. |
| "How much do I still owe?" | Payments. Milestones, what's paid and the balance due. |
| "Can you resend the quotation?" | Vault. Quotation, drawings, warranties and VOs, versioned. |
| "The cabinet door is out of line." | Snags. Raised with a photo, closed when fixed. |
Why it helps you win the next job
Homeowners ask friends and read reviews before they choose an ID. A client who could see the work every week, and approved every change in writing, is an easier client to ask for a review. At handover, Grow turns the same project into a handover pack, before and after images and a portfolio page you can send the next client.
Is WhatsApp still useful?
Yes, for "contractor coming at 9". It's hard to use as a record. Months later, when the client asks who agreed to move the island, the answer is somewhere in a long group chat. In Synify it sits on the approval, with the date and the price.
How to start on a live job
- Create the project with the address and scope.
- Add the payment milestones from your contract. The payment schedule guide shows common splits.
- Invite your client and the people on site.
- Post photos as the job moves, especially before work is covered up.
- Send changes as approvals. See the variation order template.
What it costs
Your first project is free, with no card. Starter is S$9.90 a month for 3 active projects and Pro is S$29.90 a month for 10. Your client never pays, on any plan. Full details are on the software page.
Common questions
What app do interior designers in Singapore use to update clients?
Most still use WhatsApp groups. Synify is built for this job instead: each project gets one record with dated site photos, the schedule, approvals for changes, payment milestones and documents, and the client opens it on their phone for free. Your first project is free.
Does my client need to download anything?
They open their invite and sign in. Their side is free on every plan, and the app works in eight languages, including Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
Can my contractor and sub-cons post photos too?
Yes. Invite them to the project so photos and updates come from whoever is on site. Plans count the projects you create, not the people on them.
Can I use the finished job for my portfolio?
Yes. From Grow you can make before and after images and a portfolio page from the same project. Paid plans remove the Synify branding from these.
What if my client already started a project on Synify?
Homeowners can start a project and invite their ID. When you accept, you run it and the client stays on as the client.
