Synify ("Synify", "we", "us") is based in Singapore and provides a shared project record for renovation jobs, used by independent interior designers (IDs), contractors, and their clients. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how it's protected, and your rights — in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
When you create a Synify account, we collect:
We do not collect your phone number, and we don't ask for it anywhere in the app.
Once you're using Synify, a project may contain further personal data that you or other project members choose to add — site photos, project notes, chat messages, documents, contract and payment milestone figures, and approval records. This data belongs to the project and is visible only to the people invited to it.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's own checkout page — Synify's servers never receive or store your card number. We retain only limited billing metadata, such as your subscription tier and status, needed to run your account.
We use a small number of service providers ("sub-processors") to run Synify:
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with any other party without your consent, except where required by law.
Your account and project data is hosted on cloud infrastructure running in AWS's Singapore region (ap-southeast-1).
Every project is scoped at the database level, so only the people explicitly invited to a project — the homeowner and their appointed ID or contractor — can open it. This is enforced by the database's own access rules, not just by the app's interface, so it holds even if a request bypasses the normal app screens.
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, contact us and we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
You can ask us to:

As Synify grows, we may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
